Introducing the first ever Waushara County Libraries Penny War!
For the entire month of May, each of the 8 libraries in Waushara county will have a “Penny War” container in their library. The goal is to collect more money in their container than all the other libraries in order to host the coveted Penny War Trophy at their library until we compete again next year.
There are no penalties to the library for putting non-pennies or bills into their penny war container, either. All of the funds raised at a library stay with that library to be used for their programming and projects.
So, if you find a few quarters in the couch cushions while doing your spring cleaning, consider tossing them into our penny war bucket at the library! 🙂
